✂️ Pet Nail Clippers – Sharp, Safe At-Home Trims for Dogs & Cats

Salon-neat nails without the salon trip. These pet nail clippers have sharp, durable blades that cut cleanly in one smooth squeeze, so you avoid splitting or crushing the nail. The ergonomic, comfortable handle gives you steady control for precise trims on dogs, cats, rabbits and other small pets.

🐾 Why Pet Parents Love Them

  • Sharp, Durable Blades: Clean, quick cuts that won't crush or splinter the nail.
  • Ergonomic Grip: A comfortable handle for steady, precise control, even for beginners.
  • Precise Cutting: Makes it easy to trim just a little at a time, the safest way to cut.
  • Multi-Pet Use: Suits dogs, cats, rabbits and other small pets.
  • Save on Grooming Trips: Keep nails tidy at home, on your schedule.

🐶 Why Nail Trims Matter

Overgrown nails can snag, split or curl into paw pads, and they can change how your pet walks. If you hear clicking on hard floors, it's time for a trim. Most pets need one every 3–4 weeks. Dogs that walk a lot on pavement may need them less often.

✂️ How to Trim Safely

  1. Get comfortable first. Handle your pet's paws gently for a few days before the first trim, with plenty of treats.
  2. Find the quick. On light nails, the pink area inside is the quick. Stay well in front of it.
  3. Trim a little at a time. On dark nails where you can't see the quick, take tiny slices of about 1 mm and check the cut surface after each one.
  4. Stop if your pet pulls away or seems sensitive. You may be close to the quick.
  5. Reward generously so nail time becomes a positive routine.

💡 Tip: Keep styptic powder (or cornstarch) nearby. If you nick the quick, press it onto the nail tip to stop the bleeding. If bleeding doesn't stop after several minutes, call your vet.
